Role Overview – GSE Maintenance Technician DWC
As a GSE Maintenance Technician in Emirates Dubai, you will work on a wide range of powered and non-powered Ground Support Equipment (GSE). Your role is crucial to keeping operations safe and running on time. You will carry out scheduled maintenance, identify faults, perform repairs, and support daily equipment inspections.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily checks and scheduled maintenance on equipment
- Diagnose and fix breakdowns to reduce downtime
- Assist with refurbishment and system modifications
- Guide junior technicians and ensure workshop safety
- Record accurate service data and report repeat issues
- Ensure cleanliness, tool condition, and workplace safety
- Work with automated systems in baggage and cargo handling
Who Can Apply?
dnata is looking for qualified technicians with hands-on experience and the ability to handle mechanical and electrical issues confidently.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree or Diploma in Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Diesel Engine, or Hydraulics
- Degree holders need 2–4 years of experience
- Diploma holders need 4–6 years of experience
- Industry experience in airports, heavy equipment, transportation, or manufacturing preferred
- Additional technical training (e.g., Welding, PLCs, Battery Handling) is a plus
- UAE driving license preferred
- Must have basic English skills and strong maintenance knowledge
Work Location – Dubai World Central
