Role Summary
We’re looking for a Cargo Controller to manage high-value, time-sensitive shipments across our global cargo network. This position is vital in ensuring real-time tracking, service recovery, and communication with internal teams and customers.
Key Responsibilities of Cargo Controller
- Live monitoring of special and high-yield cargo shipments
- Proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Root cause analysis and KPI reporting
- Service recovery management and milestone tracking
- Support continuous process improvement in Cargo IQ & SLA delivery
Qualifications for Cargo Controller
- High school diploma required; diploma in logistics or operations is a plus
- 3+ years of experience in cargo operations or customer service
- Trained in DG/AVI/Cargo Operations or related areas
- Familiarity with airline cargo systems and compliance protocols
Skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of airfreight milestones (FDCA, MSCA, etc.)
- Understanding of cargo KPIs and service level agreements
