Job Overview
Hilton Dubai Jumeirah is looking for a dedicated Lifeguard to oversee pool safety and ensure guests have a secure and enjoyable experience. This role plays a key part in maintaining health and safety standards, providing excellent service, and enforcing pool rules at all times.
Key Responsibilities
As a Lifeguard, your main responsibility is to protect swimmers and maintain a clean, safe environment. You will monitor all pool activities, ensure guests follow safety guidelines, and respond quickly to any emergencies. You are also expected to carry out regular pool cleaning, inspect safety equipment, and follow emergency procedures when required. During your shift, you will help guests feel welcome and secure by maintaining a professional presence at all times.
What We Expect
To be successful in this role, you should have strong communication and people skills. A valid pool lifeguard qualification is essential. You should be committed to guest safety and professional service. A helpful attitude and calm decision-making under pressure are important. You will need to follow procedures and ensure safety rules are always respected.
Preferred Qualifications
It is beneficial if you hold certifications in first aid and CPR. Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is also an advantage. You should have strong attention to detail, a passion for safety, and high standards of cleanliness. The ability to work well alone and with a team is also valued in this role.
