Specialist/Service Delivery

Join one of the UAE’s leading telecom companies as a Specialist in Service Delivery. This role is based in Abu Dhabi and focuses on managing international telecom traffic, ensuring network efficiency, and handling critical service operations.

Key Responsibilities

Optimize International Traffic Routing
Manage IDD, ISDN, and 3G video telephony routes. Ensure high quality, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment.

SS7 Test Planning and Network Configuration
Develop and execute SS7 test plans. Handle work orders for new connections, migrations, and network expansions.

Monitor SS7 Traffic
Track traffic loads regularly. Detect overloads early and initiate timely network upgrades.

Implement Contingency Plans
Ensure service continuity during major outages. Prepare and execute effective backup strategies.

Track KPIs and QoS
Analyze key performance indicators. Take quick action to fix any performance issues.

Prevent Fraud
Act immediately on any reported fraudulent activities. Strengthen controls to protect network integrity.

Lead Technology Integration
Support projects such as IPX, HD voice, SS7oIP/Sigtran, and HSL links. Ensure smooth regional implementation.

Coordinate Technical Operations
Collaborate with Engineering and other internal teams. Communicate all operational changes clearly and efficiently.

Manage Carrier Accounts
Work closely with assigned international partners. Resolve network and service-related matters promptly.

Ensure Global Compliance
Follow international telecom standards and procedures. Maintain high service quality and technical accuracy.

Monitor Network Utilization
Analyze traffic data. Optimize the use of available circuits and routing options.

Analyze Service Trends
Use historical data to identify patterns. Make informed decisions for service planning and delivery.

Investigate Operational Issues
Resolve service drops and inconsistencies fast. Minimize any negative impact on users.

Collaborate Across Departments
Work with Engineering, Marketing, and RA teams. Ensure smooth communication and service excellence across all levels.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in telecom service delivery or related operations
