About the Role
Are you a strategic media expert ready to manage one of the biggest media accounts in the region? KFC is hiring a Head of Media Planning to lead its full-funnel media investment strategy across the MENA region. This high-impact role covers key markets like Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, and Qatar, with strategic oversight of Levant and North Africa.
You’ll take full ownership of media planning, budget allocation, and agency management—ensuring every investment drives brand awareness and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Media Leadership
- Own the media strategy across four high-priority markets: KSA, UAE, Kuwait, and Qatar
- Provide strategic oversight for Levant and Morocco
- Ensure alignment with business goals and brand positioning
Media Budget Ownership
- Manage and optimize multi-million dollar budgets
- Work closely with finance and procurement for cost efficiency
- Ensure clear tracking, reporting, and accountability of all media spend
Integrated Media Planning
- Lead both ATL and digital media strategies
- Balance awareness with performance-driven goals
- Oversee planning for display, social media, programmatic, search, and offline channels
Performance & Analytics
- Implement Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) for data-driven media optimization
- Analyze campaign impact and improve ROI
- Report key media insights and trends to leadership
Agency and Stakeholder Management
- Manage all agency relationships across regions
- Align media plans with internal marketing, CRM, and ecommerce teams
- Influence senior stakeholders with well-grounded media recommendations
Who You Are
- 10+ years in media planning or media strategy
- Background in FMCG, Telecom, or Retail industries
- Proven success in managing large-scale regional media budgets
- Experience across GCC and North African markets
- Skilled in brand media, performance marketing, and econometric modeling (MMM)
- Strong communication skills and leadership presence
- English fluency is required; Arabic is a plus
