Position Overview

Saudi Aramco is looking for a Communications Specialist to become part of the Technology & Innovation Business Support Department (T&I BSD). This department plays an important role in strengthening Saudi Aramco’s competitive advantage by supporting the acquisition, development, and implementation of advanced technologies. Through these efforts, the department helps drive innovation, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainable growth across the organization.

The Communications Specialist will be responsible for developing and delivering clear, accurate, and consistent communication related to technological initiatives and innovations. The role also focuses on strengthening the visibility of the business line while supporting the company’s overall brand identity, mission, strategic direction, and corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will perform a variety of communication-related duties, including but not limited to the following:

• Develop clear, engaging, and consistent messaging for both internal and external communication platforms.

• Prepare, edit, and review various communication materials such as press releases, speeches, newsletters, articles, blog posts, and social media updates.

• Track media coverage and compile reports that analyze media engagement and performance.

• Support internal communication campaigns, announcements, and employee newsletters.

• Assist in preparing urgent communication during IT disruptions, cybersecurity incidents, emergencies, or operational shutdowns.

• Provide communication support to corporate leadership by drafting timely responses to public inquiries or internal requests.

• Ensure all communications comply with corporate branding guidelines and reflect the strategic messaging of the business line.

• Produce communication materials including event invitations, presentation programs, and executive speeches.

• Collaborate with multiple departments to maintain unified messaging across the organization.

• Evaluate the impact of communication activities using analytics tools and produce reports with recommendations for improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a closely related discipline.

• A Master’s degree in fields such as International Relations, Strategic Communication, Mass Communication, Public Administration, Literature, or a similar area is considered an advantage.

• At least five years of professional experience in communications, public relations, or a related field.

• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.

• Demonstrated experience in developing communication scripts and messaging tailored to business requirements.

• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress and the ability to gather and organize relevant information for digital publishing.

• Proven ability to produce content for various communication channels including press releases, social media platforms, newsletters, and digital publications.

• Solid understanding of media relations and social media management, including platforms such as LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok.

• Experience collaborating with public relations agencies or media organizations is beneficial.

• Knowledge of SEO principles, digital marketing strategies, analytics tools, and internal communication platforms like Microsoft Teams, intranet systems, and Zoom is preferred.

• Strong command of written and spoken English.

• Willingness and ability to relocate to Saudi Arabia.
