Role Purpose
As an Accountant, you will manage general ledger entries and reconcile financial statements. Your role includes working on monthly financial closures and handling accounts payable and receivable. This is a dynamic position that supports multiple departments in their accounting needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter financial transactions into the general ledger
- Prepare and maintain monthly journal entries with proper documentation
- Ensure all accounting files follow document retention policies
- Review bank and corporate credit card reconciliations
- Assist teams with accounting questions and issues
- Prepare cash flow statements and resolve balance discrepancies
- Support business decisions with financial analysis and reports
- Perform monthly closing activities and reconciliations
- Generate accurate and timely financial reports
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 1 to 3 years of experience in general ledger management
- Arabic language proficiency is mandatory
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
- Clear understanding of financial trends in business and the market
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels
- Business-minded with sharp attention to detail
- Skilled at managing complex issues with multiple teams
