Job Overview
Emirates Flight Catering (Food Point) is seeking a skilled and analytical Demand Production Planner to drive efficient production planning and forecasting. The successful candidate will ensure optimal capacity utilization and smooth coordination between departments to meet demand requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities of Demand Production Planner
- Generate monthly and weekly demand forecasts
- Analyze production capacity and identify potential constraints
- Coordinate closely with supply chain, production, and customer service teams
- Lead weekly planning and production meetings
- Ensure accuracy in master production schedules and planning systems
- Monitor inventory levels and materials availability
- Train and mentor assistant planners to build planning capability
- Identify areas for operational improvement and efficiency enhancement
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
At least 5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or production planning within a manufacturing environment. Experience in food production or aviation catering is a plus.
Skills Required of Demand Production Planner
- Strong demand forecasting and production planning abilities
- Proficiency with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred)
- Excellent analytical, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and cross-department collaboration
- Leadership and mentoring capabilities
Compensation
Monthly Salary: AED 14,000 (Performance-based bonuses may apply)
