Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Field Support Specialist – Network to ensure uninterrupted IT services and infrastructure performance at Emirates Flight Catering. The specialist will manage the 24×7 IT service desk, monitor server and network health, resolve escalations, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams. Expertise in networking, server maintenance, and troubleshooting is essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Manage 24×7 IT service desk operations
- Monitor and maintain server and network health (Windows & Linux)
- Handle technical escalations efficiently
- Implement system updates and security patches regularly
- Train and guide IT team members
- Collaborate with vendors and internal IT teams for project delivery
- Ensure best practices in IT infrastructure and service management
Qualifications of FIELD SUPP SPECIALIST NETWORK
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is required. Professional certifications such as Red Hat Certified Engineer, CCNA/CCNP, and Fortinet NSE4/NSE5 are mandatory-FIELD SUPP SPECIALIST NETWORK
Experience
Minimum of 5 years experience in network support, server administration, and IT infrastructure management. Strong knowledge of JIRA, Service Now, Cisco/Juniper devices, and Wi-Fi network troubleshooting is required.
Skills Required
- LAN/WAN management, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs
- Server administration (Windows & Linux)
- Proficiency with JIRA and Service Now
- SIP, PBX system management
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
Compensation
