About the Role: Food and Beverage Team Leader at Qatar Duty Free

As a Food and Beverage Team Leader, you will assist the Duty Manager and Supervisor in managing shift operations across food and beverage outlets at Hamad International Airport. This includes maintaining the highest customer service standards, ensuring smooth staff deployment, tracking sales performance, and managing inventory and hygiene compliance.

This hands-on leadership role is vital in driving operational efficiency, motivating staff, and ensuring each guest enjoys a five-star experience during their time at Qatar Duty Free’s F&B outlets.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Food and Beverage Team Leader – Qatar Duty Free include:

Scheduling staff assignments and supervising the service team and porters to maintain service quality.
Managing documentation related to food stock, cleaning supplies, and weekly reports in alignment with HCE (Health Conscious Establishment) standards.
Monitoring inventory, ensuring freshness and rotation of stock, and avoiding wastage.
Allocating staff to service areas weekly to uphold consistent service flow and guest satisfaction.
Conducting daily cash spot-checks to detect discrepancies and ensure proper cash handling.
Leading shift-based training programs to maintain high performance and service consistency.
Motivating team members to meet and exceed daily sales targets.
Ensuring timely ordering and stock availability as per guest demands while minimizing cost and food waste.
Overseeing hygiene standards in collaboration with the sanitation team across all F&B outlets.
Performing other related tasks as directed by the department head.

Required Qualifications and Skills

To qualify for the Food and Beverage Team Leader – Qatar Duty Free role, candidates must have:

A high school qualification with at least 2 years of job-related experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 1 year experience.
A proven ability to manage staff effectively in a fast-paced service environment.
Experience working in structured hygienic settings with international food safety standards.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
