Main Objective of Role
To liaise within various Workshops and across flydubai Departments to optimize workshop production. Support safety, efficiency, and on-time fleet readiness by minimizing delays and coordinating materials, repairs, and workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain adequate stock levels of spares and consumables.
- Reduce turnaround time (TAT) by coordinating with third-party repair vendors.
- Handle warranty claim documentation and approvals.
- Coordinate component replacements and justify procurement needs.
- Collaborate on overtime needs based on workload.
- Route parts to workshops for seamless maintenance scheduling.
- Identify shortfalls and escalate potential delays in production.
- Act as focal point for workshop technical queries and resolution.
- Coordinate with procurement and finance teams to ensure timely delivery of parts.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree or Diploma in a Technical Field
- Fluent in English
- 5–7 years experience in aircraft maintenance/workshops
- AMOS and MS Office preferred
- Valid UAE Driving License (preferred)
