Etihad Airways is now hiring Revenue Management Cargo Analyst for Abu Dhabi Operations

About the Role
The Revenue Management Cargo Analyst is responsible for maximizing revenue and contribution across Etihad’s passenger and freighter network for a defined portfolio of routes. Using advanced revenue management tools, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, the role ensures optimal utilization of cargo capacity, effective prioritization of shipments, and alignment of capacity with demand to achieve the highest possible commercial outcome.
What You’ll Do
Flight & Capacity Management
- Manage and control daily flight capacity across freighters and passenger aircraft.
- Continuously adjust capacity forecasts and set optimal overbooking levels in the live flight window.
- Prioritize shipments based on cargo nature, contribution, and OBPL metrics.
- Evaluate and implement recovery options during operational disruptions, ensuring effective rebooking and minimal revenue loss.
- Optimize gateway usage and maintain strong coordination with Operations, Customer Service, Sales, and Network teams.
Network & Operational Coordination
- Respond to capacity requests from the EY network beyond AUH in line with SLA commitments.
- Oversee truck schedules and adjust routing or frequency based on operational needs.
- Provide analytical insights to Network Planning on the feasibility of ad-hoc freighters or passenger capacity changes.
- Coordinate with Operational Control for short-term aircraft swaps or adjustments.
Revenue Optimization Strategy
- Manage a portfolio of ~10 routes / 20 daily flights, designing and executing a revenue optimization strategy based on demand and capacity trends.
- Define and maintain entry conditions in RM systems to balance demand and capacity.
- Develop allocation strategies and review network allocation requests during seasonal planning cycles.
- Monitor allocation performance and conduct regular performance reviews to implement corrective actions.
- Lead weekly route performance reviews and maintain alignment with Pricing on route strategies.
- Contribute to RM Cargo departmental development initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2–3 years of experience in airline cargo or a related field.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Experience with a reputable airline is an advantage.
