Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Analyst in Information Security, your main goal is to protect RTA’s digital assets by proactively identifying and addressing security threats. You will:
- Identify, report, and implement corrective actions in response to security violations
- Conduct vulnerability research and suggest remediation measures
- Analyze and escalate incidents from the security event queue
- Capture, prioritize, and resolve IT security service requests and incidents
- Support ISO27001, ISR, and other compliance audits through testing and documentation
- Perform technical assessments to detect system and application vulnerabilities
- Monitor and respond to anomalies in security systems and configurations
- Develop and maintain IT security policies, procedures, and standards
- Assist in security awareness sessions for staff across departments
- Prepare reports and ensure all configurations align with hardening guidelines
- Research and document security architecture requirements
- Support ongoing risk assessments and ensure compliance readiness
- Provide technical analysis related to malware, intrusion, and log analysis
- Share knowledge, document lessons learned, and enhance end-user awareness
Core Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Information Technology
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a relevant IT security role
- Strong working knowledge of ISO27001, ISR, or other security standards
- Familiarity with security tools, assessments, and system configuration
- Knowledge of ethical hacking or penetration testing techniques
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or GIAC are preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication, analysis, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders
- Comfortable working in culturally diverse teams
