About the Role
As a Store Manager, you will lead your team to deliver outstanding customer service, drive sales, and manage day-to-day operations. Your key focus will be on store profitability, people development, customer satisfaction, and high merchandising standards.
Key Responsibilities
People Development & Leadership
You will hire, train, and develop high-performing retail teams. By holding daily briefings and weekly meetings, you will ensure alignment on goals, strategies, and targets. Leading by example, you’ll coach team members on selling skills, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
Customer Experience & Sales
Customer satisfaction is a top priority. You will actively be present on the sales floor, guiding your team and ensuring exceptional service. Maintaining visual merchandising standards and clean, organized store layouts will be part of your daily focus.
Driving Profitability
Achieving and exceeding sales targets is central to your role. You’ll monitor store performance, control shrinkage, manage payroll, and implement smart cost-control strategies.
Operational Excellence
You’ll enforce company policies and procedures while protecting store assets. From managing stock movements to ensuring accurate returns and smooth exchanges, you’ll keep everything running efficiently.
Skills & Requirements
Required Skills
- Proven success in fashion retail, sales, and store operations
- Strong knowledge of local market trends and brand positioning
- Hands-on leadership with a focus on training and team development
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent service delivery
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Store Manager in fashion retail
Technical Skills
- Strong English communication (spoken and written)
- Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and SAP
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform some lifting
- Detail-oriented with solid reporting and numeracy skills
